The Yakima EXO System is a modular hitch-based cargo system that turns any car into an adventure vehicle. The EXO System adapts to your storage needs and keeps your gear organized and accessible. By mounting on a 1.25″ or 2″ hitch, you get improved fuel economy the car roof remains available for tent and other gear.
The EXO TopShelf attaches to the EXO SwingBase (sold separately) to create a second tier of storage for your gear, so you get double the storage space for your hitch.

The EXO Cleat system and SpeedKnobs let you easily change out EXO components (sold separately) so you can bike today, ski tomorrow, and camp this weekend, all with one system. This hitch-mounted system makes accessing gear easy; It also rotates 180 degrees relative to the EXO SwingBase to easily access the lower level.
The EXO System includes HitchLock to secure to the EXO SwingBase and includes 2 extra SKS lock cores to secure your gear and EXO components. The EXO TopShelf includes a jack stand and pairs perfectly with the EXO BackDeck (sold separately) to create a multipurpose table.

Disappointed – bikes on top rack wobble way more than is acceptable.We have two fairly light mountain bikes on top and there is excessive wobble. The lower level cargo box is not fully accessible with the hat ch open and the bikes above. Was this product fully tested?
