The Xantrex Freedom Remote Control Panel (Part # 84-2056-01) allows you to control your Freedom Combi, Freedom 458 and Freedom Marine Series Inverter/Charger system from any convenient location. It is easy to read, operate and install, and all controls can be accessed directly from the front panel.

    All information at a glance.Works great with the Schneider 2500W inverter. Had to modify the cabinet to make it fit. Also had to change the wiring on the existing control cable connector but it works.

    Works great, easy plug in and power upWorks great, easy plug in and power up. I have 4 6 volt T-115 batteries about 6 years old and just finished the Equalization charge. Really seems to rejuvenate the batteries, which is why I bought it.

    Should be the control panel for the RV converter.Excellent addition to my RV that only showed battery voltage and switch to turn on Inverter. This gives you complete control of the setup process and allows you to see the current charge or discharge and state the battery is in.

    size of the unit was important. This one had the same bolt pattern as the old .I replaced a Freeman 20 with this one. The only problem was I had to cut the battery cables that came out of the back of the old one and make a connector to bolt onto the new 458. The remote wiring for the new one matched up to the old one so all I had to do was plug it in using the old wiring

    AN AMAZING REMOTE THAT GIVES YOU AN IMMEDIATE VIEW OF HOW THE INVERTER IS OPERATING.MINE WAS INSTALLED THIS WEEK ALONG WITH THE FREEDOM 458 INVERTER FROM XANTREX. IT IS SO ACCURATE AND HELPFUL TO SEE HOW THE INVERTER IS CHARGING AND ALSO HELPFUL IN DIAGNOSING ANY ISSUES YOU .MIGHT HAVE WITH YOUR INVERTER. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED,

    Perfect replacement panelPerfect replacement for prior one that went bad after 13 years. Plugged right into old wiring and worked perfectly.Dimensions on description not accurate….smaller and same size as old one so fit perfectly in same cut-out.

    Brought new life to failing Freedom Marine!I’m so happy with this remote!I thought I was going to have to get a new inverter/charger for my solar powered cabin as the buttons on our Xantrex Freedom Marine 20 were shot and I couldn’t get the charging aspect to work properly. Getting this remote was a last ditch effort…Also, I had just gotten a new 2000 watt generator so I could economically charge my battery bank (I had been using a beast of a generator that was a major overkill and wasted a ton of gas just to top of the batteries on a cloudy weekend). But the freedom marine 20 kept on tripping the circuit on the new 2000 watt… just sucked the little generator for all it was worth…But now!… I can set the limit on “asking” amps and the 2000 watt Wan does it perfectly. I was able to program the charge setting… and even equalize the batteries, which can’t be done on a freedom marine 20 without a remote.I ran the 2000 watt generator for about 8 hours on eco mode (about 1 gal gas) and then another 8 hours on equalize mode (another 1 gal). I set the amp limit to 15 amps and the generator barely revved up (mostly just for the bulk charge phase).By battery bank is performing MUCH better thanks to this product.A must have if you have a older (discontinued) Xantrex Freedom Marine!Did i mention how happy I am?
