Good, solid chairs! They’re a great size, loads of room! You don’t need to be plus size to get them, and my partner who’s a 12 is fine sitting in them for an evening, as am I, at a size 20.They’re a bit sticky when opening and closing, but once you get the knack, they’re ok. Could be a bit easier tho, as someone who isn’t strong would find it difficult. Also they’re quite heavy, but it’s to be expected, as they’re very solidly made, and def won’t buckle like those cheap chairs. The director style is much more comfy than the regular style camping chairs, particularly when you’re on them for a long time. Grab yourself a waterproof cushion, and they’re just wonderful! The table is handy, and the side pockets are great for all your things! They also have a handle at the top to carry them when folded, and it’s useful to drag them around a field when camping. Def recommend!

Impressed, very impressedSo, I bought these to be a long term replacement for the crappy £7 foldable ones that I have to end up replacing every year as they are flimsy and rotten. I’m no where near the weight limit but I like to feel safe in a chair. This, this I do. Took them to my parents for a socially distant afternoon in the garden. They were impressed by the chairs as much as we were. Sturdy and comfortable for 3ish hours of sitting on them. The table is really handy. Can’t wait to take them camping. We’re off to Oban next month and they will be in the sub floor in the boot of the car, just in case we stop somewhere at the roadside for a Picnic

Very sturdy heavy duty chair and super comfyThe perfect camping chair, folds flat and can be stored in minimal space but opens up into a pretty big sturdy chair capable of holding considerable weight. My husbands 18st and it easily held his weight without a problem. The frames got thick canvas type material that’s easy to clean, a padded back cushion which is lovely to lean back on and the side tables genius. Holds snacks and drinks etc love this part of the chair. There’s a useful storage bag section in the other end for fishing stuff or whatever you need it for. Really impressed with this, absolutely lovely chair and great for camping as we have limited space in the van. Very happy with this worth every penny. Thanks love this !

I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS……unless I’m really irked or I’ve been really moved. I want to buy these chairs for every camper! You know when they say it’s a wide seat but you just know you’re going to have to squeeze into it anyway? No – I’m wide and this chair is roomy even for me. It’s great looking, and they’ve thought of everything. I love that the chair is made from coated steel (so it’s strong and won’t rust), the table placement is thoughtful (low enough for comfortable access and out of the way), and the pockets – you’ll like them. It looks and feels sturdy yet I can carry it easily. That’s all – of all the chairs I researched this gets an A++. Can’t wait to to sit on a windy summit with my babe, read a book, or sit and supervise a fossil find in an old quarry. I’m a sceptic, but I’ve been won over. Okay, one con – every thing is heavy duty, sturdy on this chair except the leg caps at the bottom. I’ll wait and see, but they look pretty thin. Anyway, off we go!

Looking For A Strong Foldable Chair For Bigger People? Look No Further!I am a big Lady and had a Directors Chair which my bum popped out of at the sides and I was always waiting on it collapsing. This chair is so comfortable and strong kept foldable. Love the handles to carry it. Was a little more expensive but worth every peppy for the peace of mind when using it. Highly recommended. *****

Perfect for it’s useIt’s exactly what I was looking for – it’s the perfect height, sturdy, easy to get out of – nice to have a little table for beverage and place for cell phone, book, etc on the other side. I’m only 5’3″ so the height is perfect and I’m not exactly a light weight and it’s plenty sturdy. The back is comfortable enough – it’s a camping/beach chair not a fluffy recliner. I have really bad knees so it’s nice to be able to be in the sandand have a nice chair to sit in. You do have to use a little elbow grease to close, but I’m a weakling and I did it was fairly easy for me.

WORTH WAY MORE THAN IT COST!The KingCamp Heavy Duty, Camping Folding Director Chair, is lightweight, easy to set up or fold up, extremely sturdy, very well made. I have bought “Heavy Duty” chairs before but none lasted thru the season. This chair is really is heavy-duty. When I sat in the King Camp chair it was so comfortable I actually said “Wow!” The side table is solid and sturdy. The zippered side pouch and Velcro closure pockets prevent losing things –like your keys!. I also bought an umbrella (50+ Adjustable Beach Umbrella XL with Universal Clamp for Chair) and together they work great! From now on, KingCamp is my “go-to place” for durable outdoor equipment!

It is sturdyI like the sturdy look my only negative is I would like the height of the legs to be higher so it is easier to get up from, because arthiritis of back, and both knees replaced the higher I can sit the easier to get up. I don’t know if it can be done, but it would be a big plus. Probably 4 inches higher would do it.

  9. Susan McBride

Just want I wanted!I love this chair! It’s sturdy, easy to get up from and light weight. Fits in the trunk of my car easily and in my folding wagon. The side table and Velcro pockets are just wonderful add ons. I like this chair enough to use it indoors and out!

King Camp Heavy Duty has my vote!!I bought The King Camp Heavy Duty Chair and the Coleman Outpost Breeze because I couldn’t decide which one I would like based on the good reviews on both chairs. I prefer The King Camp Heavy Duty but I’m keeping both. I like this chair because I prefer to sit a more upright and I like the space between the back and the seat. The Coleman lets you slouch into the chair and recline a bit more. My husband prefers that so he has a new chair too. We are a larger couple at 300 lbs and each chair was sturdy but I felt The King Camp chair was has a more solid frame and sat better on uneven terrain than the Coleman. I prefer the table on this chair as well.

Does hold the weightI purchased this to use when I was working the front gate at a local outdoor event. I am extremely heavy set and this was the only one that said it would take my weight. It was comfortable, roomy and strong. I left it for the person who took over for the second shift and he brought it back raving about how comfortable and strong it was.

Safety first.Bought this for my dad. He is 6’6″ and 300+ with very bad inflammation and arthritis. I needed a chair for outdoor activities that he could safely navigate without falling over or through the chair. This is it! Easy to set up, love the pockets for his gadgets, and the tray to hold plate and drink.
