A Perfect FitA great replacement for the chrome accent molding on headrests of 60’s Mopar bucket seats.

Great for my Cozy Coops! Very Sticky. Perfect Size. Did Not Pull off Fresh Paint. Detail PicsPerfect!Don’t Laugh. lolI did not exactly buy these for their intended purpose. But they were perfect for what I needed. The trim was as thin as I was hoping for and VERY STICKY! Stickier even on the second day after application.I am revamping Cozy Coupes. They have been repainted and then I add the trim. The trim sticks very well to the Valspar Spray that I have painted the cars with. It does not pull the paint off either. Bends well around curves. Won’t turn too tight of a circle but will bend very nice.Hopefully the pics will give you a nice size reference. The back is sticky with 3M.

Used it for Bathroom mirror edgingBelieve it or not I used this for the bottom of my bathroom mirror where the back etching started to deteriorate from moisture. I sealed the bottom of the mirror where it meets the granite countertop and then purchased the 1/4 inch chrome molding and applied one solid strip across the bottom to hide the damage. It looks great and is much cheaper than purchasing mirror pieces to put over the damage.

For non-traditional use (window rims)My outer window gaskets (those black rubber thingy that holds the side windows) were getting degraded – started having spots that looked like rain stains or sun damage? not sure, but took it to the car place and they said it still works fine just cosmetic. To prevent the further damage, after some research I decided to try this one on the gasket base (right above the body, but below those flappy bit that needs to stay flexible to allow windows to go up and down). I did it all along my windows, and now it not only hides/protects the spotted gasket, but also made my older car look newer with that chrome trim. Pretty happy with the quality of it, and it is holding up extremely well after over 6 months.

Nice touch that adds to appearance.Have used before and like appearance. Adds a nice touch. Have developed a system to install; lift end of red adhesive and place 2 pieces of scotch tape with sticky sides facing together and return red adhesive to original position. Place moulding where I want it and slowly begin to pull on scotch tape from end which removes the red tape sandwiched between scotch tape.

Not just for cars!I bought this a while back for a craft project but didn’t use it for that, so I kept it because I knew I would find another use for it, eventually. I was right! It works great as trim around our basic bathroom mirror, giving it that mid-century look we love. It looks like we bought the mirror that way. Super easy, sticks well, and simple to cut with a regular pair of scissors. I even have some left over for a future project.

Low Cost Replacement TrimI used this to replace the trim that was missing on the saddlebags of a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad I bought used. Aside from “Nomad” not being engraved on the rear top line, it looks near OEM (OEM was a nickel or polished finish though). For the price difference, I’d never buy the OEM strips. OEM replacement kit cost about $300! This one roll did both sides and looks like I have enough left over to do both sides again if I ever need to. Saved myself about $285, absolutely no complaints here!

Works great. We restored a 1960s boat and couldn’t find original trim and didn’t want to drill more holes into the fiber glass. It looks good and sticks great and like right now. That’s the only hard part about it, where you put it is where it stays. But for the most part it’s great for being stick on chrome.
