I like it, good sponge holderEasy to clean, compact, and suction well on stainless steel sink, ok on enamel ( tend to fall more often). My sponge hasn’t really fall from the holder, not sure why other people are experiencing that problem.

Perfect for a single spongeThis little sponge holder blends in perfectly with the stainless steel interior of my sink. I generally like OXO products because they have high quality suction cups. I only keep one scrubby sponge in this (I don’t think it would fit more than one sponge, it’s pretty small), and so far it hasn’t fallen down. Low profile, stainless steel will keep it from rusting. So far, does everything I want it to do.

Love the look, matches my new modern sink and fits my sponges perfectly!I had been looking for something like this for a while. Something sleek and modern looking that matches our new sink. This is it. It looks like it is part of the sink and makes the sponge look like it’s floating. Yes it turns freely if you bump it but who cares. It looks great and holds a freaking sponge. I’m not worried about that. Highly recommend!

After 4 years it still looks great and does what it’s supposed to do.After 4 years of usage, still works and looks great! It keeps my sponge always within reach and allows it to drip dry into the sink.It surprisingly holds well to my brushed stainless steel sink if you wet the suction cup first before pressing to the surface. The suction cup is removable to make cleaning of the holder easier. Doesn’t require much maintenance. I cleaned the holder for the second or third time since owning it and it washed clean. There is no noticeable corrosion or rust visible after 4 years. The finish is a little banged up after all this time from pots and pans hitting it, but because the finish of the holder is brushed it goes with the look and is not unpleasant.The only issue I have with it is that it sometimes rotates too easily where it mounts with the suction cup. If it tilts over enough the sponge falls out. You just have to be a little more deliberate when you place the sponge into the holder.

Another Winner from OXO – Simply the Best!Rarely have I purchased a product from OXO and been let down, and the OXO Steel Suction Sponge Holder is no exception.First off, let’s talk about construction. Contrary to what the product name says, this sponge holder is made out of anodized aluminum, not steel, so it’s very light, and won’t rust. There are drain holes in the bottom, so it won’t collect water and get moldy. On the back is a large suction cup, with a pull tab to help remove it from the sink.Second, packaging. This product comes in plastic clamshell packaging we’ve all come to know and hate. However, OXO has saved customers from cuts, scratches, and frustration by scoring the back of the package, and putting a pull tab on the back flap. Just grab the tab, pull, and voila, it’s open. I wish every company would do this!The suction cup holds firm to my brushed stainless steel sink, it keeps my sponge dry, and the holder doesn’t flop around or rotate once attached.Two thumbs up!NOTE: There seems to be some confusion about the suction cup. It is one large suction cup on the BACK of the holder, not on the bottom. This is designed to stick to the side of your sink bowl, not the countertop surface.

Nice product.I was actually concerned that this product would cover too much of my sponge and not let enough air circulate around it, since it is not a grid like other sponge holders are. I was wrong. It is small, smaller that the width of the blue sponges I buy at Costco, and allows for the sponge to dry out completely. It is however thick enough so that I don’t have to force the sponge down into it, I can just place it there after each use. It looks nice in my white sink and is not distracting or in the way at all. I stuck it there the first day it arrived and have not had any problems at all with the suction. I like it.
