Not as described.Description says:”This CV joint boot kit contains the parts required to repair the CV joint on specified vehicles without removing the joint itself.”THIS IS FALSE! Unlike the boot in the video this does NOT come in 2 halves for ease of installation.Disappointed.

There was no need for me to replace a good axle because of a torn bootInstalled one of these for the first time and I must say it was a bit difficult but well worth the time, effort and money. There was no need for me to replace a good axle because of a torn boot. I used the cone to install this and it was a little difficult at first. You just have to realm grease it up. And I did it when it was cold outside. But well worth the time and effort.

With no maliceThe quality seemed okay and has everything you would need to replace the boot. But it was not a fit for my vehicle. Their description claimed it was a universal fit but it was not. The size and a air vent was mismatched. Hence three stars. But I am able to return the product for a refund so overall no loss. I am not sure if I should be adding this review at all, since I have not used the product and it may hurt the seller.

Requires specialized tools to installFits ok, but is quite a bit to long really. Clamps for each end of the boot requires specialized band tensioning tool which is not listed anywhere in the listing. I ended up using the old clamps. This shouldn’t be this hard…

Great value , sturdy boot but the bands to tighten boot ends were not that great .Was hoping this was a quick boot that is split in half and you just lock together and glue but it was a solid boot , easy install once you cut old boot off and remove metal ties , slide boot on shaft end and up and over the housing , no boot cone needed for Jeep Grand Cherokee 96-98 . Fit great , wish it came with better bands to secure the boot ends but I managed to find a way to have them super tight and working fine .

Doesn’t fitI ordered these as spares to have in case I needed to replace my CV boots on a SAAB 900. Well, one of mine split, and so it was time to put them to use. I took the car to the mechanic I go to to have him replace them for me, and he tells me they don’t fit and are the wrong size. So he ordered the correct size. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the vehicle finder on MyMotorhomeLife or with the Dorman product itself. However I now have 2 boots I can’t use and can’t return as I purchased them over 8 months ago. If you’re purchasing as spares, and not to use right away, you may want to have the measurements of what you need on hand and measure them when you receive them as the MyMotorhomeLife car match system may not work for you either.
