- If you purchase this shock as a direct replacement for a Tonneau Cover or RV door, please measure the length from the center of the socket to the center of the socket before purchasing. Our gas spring is not suitable for all Tonneau Covers.

Piston impossible a installéComment se fait il que les bille avec tige filleter ne sont pas incluse… les support de metal je comprend quil ne sont pas inclus, mais que les pistons arrive sans aucune facon de les monter. Je devrais déboursé 24$ pour racheter un kit de montage…. ridicule. Je ne peux pas juger la facilité dinstallation ny la qualite.

Works well, saves my back.Worked as expected. 120# of force was enough to lift a home built bed frame and Queen size foam mattress, but I wouldn’t use a lighter strut (my bed frame is likely heavier than a commercial frame). Use strong screws, there was enough force to bend some flooring screws I had initially used. They lift and hold as needed. My installation was perhaps unorthodox but it was easy and worked for me.

Great customer serviceI originally ordered the 40lb pair. Warning! If you have a Leer or A.R.E fiberglass toneau cover, do NOT order the 40lb pair. They will not lift or hold your top. You need the 120lb pair. I contacted the seller and got great customer service from Lisa who helped me figure out what I needed. I did a lot of research prior to buying the 40lb pair but not much info out there. The 120lb set lifts as soon as I turn the handle and takes it straight up and holds it like its supposed to. Thanks for making my order right, and I highly recommend buying this product.

Works as AdvertisedNeeded a 20″ center-to-center hydraulic spring without matching OEM numbers and this worked out well. Overall length is the same though the ram itself is a bit shorter with the tube body being a bit longer. However, works well and it didn’t seem to make a difference

Air Struts / ShocksI bought these because the door to my outdoor TV wouldn’t stay up. Matched up the numbers on the side (fairly close) hint… the last 2 numbers eg 10 20 30 etc are the psi pressure that you need to replace. Price was great, $20 or so for both. Product was great. Found a video on YouTube to install them. Had them installed by myself in less than 5 minutes. Almost went to the RV dealer to have them fixed…. figure I saved about $200 to $300 doing it myself. It was really easy to do. These were the 30 PSI which I thought was high pressure for that but they work great and that is what was in there before.
