Disappointed; no better than my £15 cheapieUPDATE TO INITIAL REVIEW BELOW:I used the inflator for the third time today and it isn’t pumping air. It’s making noise but the tyre pressure stays the same. Very disappointed and RV will not allow a return after this time. I cannot see a way to contact the seller either. Waste of money.I bought this “heavy duty” inflator to maintain pressures in my motorhome tyres that are about 80psi. On arrival, the inflator came with a handy storage and carrying bag and looks the business. Strongly built compared with my old inflator, it has a very handy extendable hose to reach tyres on a longer vehicle.I attached it to my motorhome to top up my tyres by about 5psi. The first couple went fine and inflated quickly but after that it seemed to took some time to get to the right pressure – had to stop after 15 mins and restart. The tone of the pump also changed noticeably and got a bit variable. Anyhow, did that and put it away. Today, I needed to top up one of my car tyres by 5psi and it took about 3-4 minutes. The seller’s claim that it inflates a standard car tyre in a couple of minutes isn’t justified based on this one’s performance. I haven’t got much confidence it will last and given the price, that’s not right. I may have been unlucky and got a dud but I can’t recommend this item.

Really fast, powerful, extremely heavy duty piece of kit … that should last … BUY THIS ONE!First one arrived damaged dial – brilliant Customer Service … seems these people want to storm the top end of the Market.Having had 2 Michelin pumps (good Brand Image … rubbish pumps) that worked on arrival, used once but both let me down at that crucial wet cold nights !It seemed worth spending a little more £52 not £34.This pump is truly miles apart … really heavy duty, heavy metal .. not cheap plastic crap. Very quiet and smooth circa 1/50 of the noise of a Michelin. And 15 x faster. The spare on an SClass Coupe is 60 psi. The garage had set it to 33psi … Stormed up to 60psi in seconds. Doesnt leak when turned off. Well made screw on connector so you don’t lose much. Pretty accurate dial circa within 1 psi ( note the Michelin was +/- 8 psi! …. just not good enough with a 5.5L engine! And the torque to match). If Carlsberg made pumps…, they would take this one and have a backlit ‘big numeral’ dial, and a 1.5 meter rubber extension. The coiled plastic extension is a bit of a pain but not too bad. The existing black hose is fine on 20” wheels.Or add 2meters to the power cable. And definitely an LED light to see what you are doing.Note I am being picky here … and conversely when both Michelins died after being used 6 times in total, I opened one up to see a ton of electrics …. so maybe Tirewell understand the pitfalls of gadget-gizmos leading to premature failure!DEFINITELY THE BEST I HAVE SEEN OR USED. If you are sick of buying 4th rate rubbish end the nightmare and BUY ONE OF THESE ,Delighted Customer.

This item is so nice to useThis item is so nice to use, you don’t even have to put it on the floor next to your vehicle. I put it on the seat on the side to be inflated. front or back seat. It reaches the tire with no effort. It inflates quickly and job done. No complains on this one.

Worked well for my 04 Mercedes S-Class and my 05 …Worked well for my 04 Mercedes S-Class and my 05 Range Rover! Should’ve bought two to store in each vehicle!!

This is NOT a 150 psi pump!!!!!We bought this specifically to keep in our fifth wheel camper as we travel. It is advertised as a 150 psi pump. Our camper tires have 110 psi. One of the tires was low (99 psi) so my husband tried to inflate it with the pump. After 5 minutes of pumping, the needle never moved. After going through the manual, it claims to be a 100 psi pump. Yes, Tirewell, you got our money. Hopefully others will read this and not make the same mistake.

Great pump OUTSTANDING WARRANTYI used it maybe 10 times to fill a small air tank. The last time I switched it on, it sounded like there were ball bearings in it. I ordered this big one to replace the much smaller one I had been using for 5 years. Now we’ll see about the warranty. Wow! Tirewell’s warranty is off the wall they are sending me a brand new one.THAT, OTHER COMPANIES, IS HOW YOU SHOULD ALL DO CUSTOMER SERVICE!Thank you service team!P.S. WOW again! only a few days after Tirewell said they would send me a new one, it showed up. I’m headed back to shop for anything else they sell that I can’t live without. I love these guys. Too bad my daughter is already married.Jerry

Excellent emergency pump for RV to 80psi, w/Nilight ml091811 hvy duty 12v ext. cord & screw-on tip.(Update 12/27/18)Still working well months later…My son realized one of his SUV tires was low, borrowed this in November and it worked great for him to pump up the tire to get to a shop and have it fixed.(Original review)Bought this after a tire went soft in our RV last weekend, and we drove around for 1/2 hour looking for a large filling station where I could get the RV into and reach the tire to pump it up, to get home, after finding it apparently had a slow leak over our stay.So far, it’s just what I hoped. I tested it by pumping up the low tire, which was at 60psi, and I needed 80psi. It is very slow, but I expected that for this type of pump. I pumped the tire to 70lbs first, let the pump cool as directed, then did 10 more to 80psi. Took two passes of about 7 minutes each.Pump is much quieter than I expected, and came with a really nice heavy nylon carrying case with a side pouch. The 12v cigarette lighter extension cord that I got to go with it fits in the case nicely. It also came with an adapter for attaching to the battery (which is what I used first time). Also a few little adapters for balls, etc.The yellow hose helped make it much easier to reach my rear tires. The included screw-on tip is a MUST for high pressure tires, as the clip on ones do not hold well at that high pressure and above, in my opinion. My compressor has the clip, and it’s a PITA to use. I much prefer the screw-on tip so far. I specifically looked for one with this tip, for that reason.I’ll try to update my review again after I’ve had this for a while, but so far, I’m very happy with it!

Perfect inflator for RV useBought this to use specifically with the Roy Pow AC to DC Converter 180W (Max 200W) 12V15A Power Supply Adapter (also purchased on RV). The set allows me to inflate RV tires via 120v source or 12v source (I use my portable Kodiak Solar Generator for the 12v source). Volume of airflow for inflation is understandably low, but the PSI for inflating RV tires (80-100 psi) is what I was looking for in this unit. When I first received the unit I performed a “break in” for the pistons by running without being connected to a tire (no pressure resistance). I did the “on for 5 mins then off until cooled” cycle about five times. So far so good with absolutely no problems. Knock on wood. Fairly good price, quick delivery.

Awesome! Might buy another! At first, I thought the screw type hose attachment was going to be a problem, having used universal fittings in the past, but this was not the case. This pump is several times faster (6-7x) than the cheaper units. It also runs cool – the metal fittings on the hose heat up, but the compressor body does not (I’ve burned myself on the cheaper compressors cylinder body). As a test (was going to be a video review, but the camera failed and I wasn’t motivated to do it again), I deflated my BF Goodrich All Terrain AT truck tire to 16#, then re-inflated. It took about 4 minutes to bring it back up to 37#. By comparison, the cheap compressor I have takes about 25 minutes just to go from 20# to 35#, so if you do serious offroading and air-down your tires, this compressor is the bomb. The compressor gauge showed 40# and my hand-held gauge showed 37# – a difference of less than 10% and I don’t know which one is off – maybe both?Only negative comment is the short power lead. In the attached picture, the lead is barely long enough to cross the engine compartment and go down to the ground in case you’re inflating the tire furthest from the battery. Truck has a couple inch lift, so cars won’t have this problem.Pros:- fast- smooth- cool- two ways to power it (12V socket and battery)- carry bagCons:- short power lead

Pricey but works good.Nice little pump. Does my F-150 tires in 4 minutes from empty (one tire). Quiet as a whisper. Doesn’t dance around thanks to the rubber feet. I was concerned about the hose connection but it disconnects quickly and easily. I do and an extra pound just in case but it doesn’t lose any more air than a bicycle pump. On mine the pressure gauge is accurate which is also a nice plus.Sure is a nice upgrade from those little emergency inflators.
