We bought 2 of these and one of them works fine but the other won’t hold its position and collapses backwards. Unfortunately we bought the chairs and am using them for the first time now after the time period to return. Would definitely try these out immediately in case it’s defective.

Nice chair, feels a bit more « premium » than the other tommy Bahama chair I have because of the wooden armrests. Love the cooled compartment, and the included beer opener, however, it is less comfortable than my other one when fully reclined because of a metal bar that is touching the back.

The best beach chairs ever!
We recently moved to the beach and were in desperate need of beach chairs. These are the absolute best chairs! They fold flat and can be carried as a backpack. They have so many pockets and even a cup holder. My favorite feature is how they lay in so many different positions so if I want to take a little nap I’m not falling over. We seriously love these!!

Hopefully it holds up
I purchased based on a Wirecutter recommendation, while they can be hit or miss, this chair (or a similar variant) seems to pop up on most beach chair recommendation lists. My first impressions aren’t great but we’ll see how it holds up.Positives: Low to the ground (personal preference), wood arms feel sturdy and more classy than plastic, lightweight, lots of features/pockets, and ability to fully recline flat.Negatives: Backpack straps look like they were made for kids and I had to fully extend the straps to put it on (6’1 190lbs so YMMV). Hard to remove stickers on the metal bars (made in China, cancer in Cali, barcode, etc.). I’m well under the weight limit of 250 but the creaks and groans it makes when I sit down don’t inspire confidence. Overall fit and finish are questionable, there are a few stickers that appear to be either inspection or part number that were sewn over, many loose threads.Summary: Considering the price I had higher expectations but we’ll have to see how it holds up. Would give another star if the backpack straps weren’t so absurdly small.

The coolest chair! I bought it for my boyfriends birthday, but I honestly want to keep it for myself it’s so cool. (I’m still gonna give it to him)It has two zipper pouches. One on the back of the chair and one on the arm. It even came with a bottle opener which will be awesome. And you can recline it all the way back and lay down. And the pillow is great.
