Installed dead unit. When I opened the box, screws spilled everywhere. That was my first clue this had been opened by a previous buyer. There was foam weather stripping added on the heat plate that doesn’t come with the trim kit. Second clue. I installed everything as I was supposed to (which was really very easy and fit perfectly!). But I should have simply plugged this in first to verify it worked. It did not. Probably why it was returned. Total wast of time and effort. Waiting to hear back from the seller, but I’m not excited about doing anymore business with them. Replacing it is not gonna be a complete answer. How could they send me a broken returned unit????

Perfect fit!I was looking for a replacement microwave for my 2013 Jayco (JayFlight) RV. I was reading in reviews that others had to cut the space a little larger to fit a similar microwave but I wanted one that fit without having to do that . After some searching I found this microwave which is the same brand as the original . The write-up in the description gave the exact measurement of the space I had. It fit perfectly, no hassles. Delivery was quick from the dealer. This is one happy camper!

Not happyDon’t walk, run from this product. First, instructions are minimal. It came with an intake and exhaust duct that must be installed. The top duct screws to the cabinet. The bottom duct screws to the wood under the microwave inside the cabinet. The magic chef that was originally in my camper had both the bottom and top duct screwed to the microwaves cabinet. Then when I went to set it in the campers cabinet I realized that it didn’t fit. The flange was smaller which was going to look like crap. So, with a little bending and a lot of prying I was able to install the flange from my original microwave on to this one. Had to drill four new holes in the side for the mounting screws. It is installed in my camper now and it looks ok but I’ll never by this again. I don’t mind that it was a high point brand but, it was suppose to be a direct replacement for my existing unit. It was everything but.

900 watt is the out put.I ordered this because it should 900 watt and that would be perfect for the generator I have. After receiving it and reading through the speck sheet I found out that it is 900 watt out put and 1350 watt input witch make it less than perfect. I think the add was miss leading.

Easy to install but not what was advertisedProblem is, the advertisement states it’s one size and it way smaller than they state for the facing plate. It shoukd have easily gone right back into the same spot, but the facing plate was smaller than they stated. So I luckily was able to mount it into a cupboard next to the same area. Now I have to fix the hole tho..? Plus, it would be wonderful if these companies would state all warranties will be voided if mounted above the stove! Because guess where RV manufacturers put their microwaves? Right above the stoves!??All in all tho, I love the fact it works great and is easy to use. Was easy to put it together and mount as well, but does need a reverse plate mount lip for some RV’s fyi guys..or make a lip so the microwave won’t slip and slide if you are using while in motion and doors are open, it can tip and slide forward if not careful.

Product description misleadingI purchased this microwave to replace a High Pointe microwave that failed in my fifth wheel trailer. I chose it since it appeared to be a different brand since it is listed as a “RecPro RV Microwave”. When it arrived it was a High Pointe brand microwave. I contacted the seller and they said the microwaves they sell are High Pointes. Since I needed to use my RV, I went ahead and installed. Works OK at this time.I feel the seller is misrepresenting the brand they are selling.
