These are great if you know you’re going to connect and reconnecting stereo wire. They are expensive though if you think of them by how much they are individually. But again they are hard to find in a hardware store.

Love these and have ordered them before but this time they came and were broken open and 2 were missing but other than that great for any wiring project

I purchased this item on April 25, 2017 and I must say that this product is a life saver or rather a wallet saver. Long story short: The driver’s side headlight on my 2012 Kia Sorento had failed. I originally thought that it was a blown headlight, but later discovered that one of the wires on the headlight pigtail was loose. The dealership tried to sell me on the idea that the entire wiring assembly may be faulty. I was looking at nearly $300 for parts; plus labor. After conducting research on the internet, I discovered that the problem could be resolved by simply replacing the pigtail. I went to AutoZone and purchased a replacement pigtail for $11 and ordered the Posi-Lock wire connectors Assortment Pack from MyMotorhomeLife for about $9. The Posi-Lock Connectors were extremely easy to use; no soldering or crimping. It took me about 10 minutes to replace the faulty headlight pigtail and cost roughly $20; versus the $300 for parts plus labor rip-off from the dealer. That’s a deal that you can’t beat with a stick.

If you’ve ever needed to improvise some electrical with the ability to mix and match to get it right, these connectors are life savers. I’ve always carried a pack in the truck, kept several in the shop, and have them with me on set. Use one once to save the day, and you’ll look like a hero. Plus, when its all said and done, you can take them with you, leaving the wires in virtually the same condition. Perfect for rewiring a trailer, small amperage power circuits, tapping into power for signals, you name it. Fantastic invention.

Very easy to use with a positive connection that can be undone at any time. 4 stars due to the cost, I feel the cost should be lower.

I used to manage GPS tracking units for a fleet of over 10,000 vehicles. Reliability was of utmost priority. Our preferred method of making connections was soldering, but that was not always possible. We quickly discovered that Scotch-lock taps and crimp connections were unreliable, frequently requiring that we fly an installer out to repair a problem.Lockitt connectors and taps are the best in the industry. Plus, connections are fast. There are waterproof versions available, but I use the regular connectors. Just make sure that you tighten the nuts as tight as you can by hand. Modifications are easy to make. The connectors are reusable. They are very expensive, but worth it.

expensive bit worth every penny. Easiest way to splice wiring. Positaps are also a great way to tap existing wiring. This is waterproof (as long as you match wire gauge, reusable, requires minimal tools and is secure. I have crimpers, heat shrink tubing, solder connections, and crimp connections. This is the easiest way to do it. It is to wiring what sharkbite connectors are to plumbing.

These are easy to use and I trust them to keep a connection better than the crimp style. Great to have with you in case of an emergency repair.
