I don’t know enough abt espresso to evaluate it like some, steams well and works well, at this price point. seems solid, i’ve been making 3 or 4 a day now for 3 weeks, i will upgrade to a nicer one as soon as i can and really wish i would have just gotten a better one to begin with but obviously spending 700 is a far cry from what this one costs.

I’m a self proclaimed coffee snob that’s still learning the ropes on how to pull the best espresso shot. I believe a machine is only as good as the person using it and I’m still a beginner so I’m not pulling amazing shots yet.The machine is easy to use and clean. My only qualm is the baskets they came with (a one shot one and two shot one) are difficult to lock in. My one shot basket absolutely won’t lock into place. The manufacturing is wonky. The two shot basket barely does but I have to use less grounds, the basket can’t be filled to the top. This is fine because I don’t usually do two shots but it is a frustrating process to lock it in regardless.Overall, for the price, this is a good steal, especially if you’re a novice like me.

We drink espresso, and this would be our 4th machine in last 10 years. We had original Nespresso machine in the beginning, with pods, and then we switched to grind coffee machine about year and a half ago, so we have some experience and qualifications to say that this is beyond any expectation!I am so amazed that I keep talking about foam that this machine is able to get in the cup.It y up very quickly, less then a minute, I find that if you let it be worm for another minute you will get even better foam.Coffee comes out with beautiful taste and foam, well I can’t stop talking about that foam!!! It is ticker than coffee alone, in a making, then it settles and sits on the top of your coffee until you are done with it!That speaks of the pressure that this machine provides! This machine makes better coffee than many places that I ever been to.Cleaning is very easy, nit.It is recommended to switch off machine after using it but if you forget, machine will switch off after some time alone. We didn’t have overheating situations so far, so I believe that is really a problem. After reading all instructions that stayed as a question in my head.Coffee that we use is “la llave” sells on amazon, it is 3-5$ a bag. That will last you 20-25 double espresso’s ( estimated )So if you are still looking, this is it, you can settle on this machine!Hope this was helpful!

I wanted to wait to write a review until I had used it at least a couple dozen times. Machine looks very nice. Functionality is ok.Pros: looks nice, easy to use, easy to add water to tank, can adjust amount of water wanted for each cup of coffee, comes with single and double shot filters, has steamer wandCons: Slightly difficult to install filter head for every use. I have granite countertops and suction cups on bottom of machine do not work well because they were too small. I had to buy larger suction cups, because while turning the filter head due to its difficulty, the machine would move quite a bit. I had to use both hands to turn the filter head in place and hold the machine to prevent it from moving. Steam wand works ok but sometimes water would come out and water down the milk. In all fairness, I did read this in the manual. All in all decent machine for price point.

The crema on this espresso machine is so nice! & I have been using cafe bustelo. It is such a good price for the quality machine. The steamer works great. Cannot pull shots and steam at the same time but as a barista – this meets to my coffee expectations. I love the compact design and it does not affect the quality of the machine and the results it produces.

It’s a pint-sized powerhouse!! It fits perfectly in our kitchen, and we love it—we have only had it a week! The coffee comes out creamy and delicious, and the steamer provides that full-bodied coffeehouse latte we love! This is going to save us much money going to Sta*buc*ks. We’ve been trying different methods since 2020, and so my only regret is not buying this sooner. You can’t go wrong with the price, and the machine is very well-made. If you are on the fence on whether or not to buy it, let me say I am thrifty, and this really delivers the savings!!

I so easy to use and makes the best espressos etc–I have ever had home or elsewhere. Nothing bad to say about this espresso machine. I have owned many-(gifts to me), but this is this is the only one–only one –that IS and works like a espresso machine. No plastic , the real deal. If my 80 year old dad can make foam like those barista experts –you can too. I rarely buy anything these days and I was so worried that this might be a piece of junk . It was on sale when I bought it, but I tell ya —it is really worth it. Especially, if you are juggling family, work, and being a student etc.

This machine is easy to setup and use. I always make a double shot espresso. I love that it stops automatically when done. My former machine used to just keep running water until I manually turned it off. Now, when I use the steam wand to try and froth milk it just doesn’t froth or very well. I’ve tried all different percentages of milk too. Now I just microwave milk separately and pour it into my espresso. Overall I really like this .

I have had this machine for a couple months now,Pros: Heats up very quickly for shots and steam. Small footprint on counter. Easy to fill large water reservoir. Great creama on shots. Excellent, silky, milk steaming. The milk steamer heats up in 2-3 secs.Great tasing shots. Single and double shots stop automatically so you don’t have to watch. Easy to clean. Looks good.Cons: I would like a larger basket

TL;DRStock: Good, easy-to-use machine, espresso tamp not good, ok shots with pressurized baskets, needs milk pitcher, great milk texturing. With accessories (better tamp, portafilter, non-pressurized baskets, and milk pitcher): Good shots with good crema! Great machine for the price!I bought the machine for making espresso-based drinks at work and it works well! I have a Breville Barista Pro at home, which I can compare to.Unboxing and Instructions:Pretty easy to follow, both for prepping and using the machine. Straight forward with how to do each step of the process. Workflow-wise, pressing steam to warm up the machine for milk steaming is a little different, but ok. I also did custom volumes for the shots as this provided better control, both for the time of the shot and yield in the cup. Pretty easy to do!Tamp:Please get a different tamp, especially with non-pressurized baskets. Night and day difference with a better tamp.Portafilter:It’s decent. Comes with pressurized baskets with a weird plastic design underneath the basket for the spouts. Definitely recommend getting a different portafilter. The Casabrews 51mm bottomless portafilter works great with it!Coffee:I have only used fresh, locally roasted coffee for the machine. I also have a hand grinder to dial in the espresso. I have not tried pre-ground coffee in the machine, which can use the pressurized baskets.Espresso Pulls:With the stock machine, you only get pressurized baskets. When pulling shots with those baskets, flavors are ok but too light. Crema from the shot was also poor and too bubbly. After several attempts to try and make it work, I bought the bottomless portafilter from Casabrews. This comes with a non-pressurized basket. After dialing in on the espresso and doing a custom volume for the shot (much better for control), finally GOOD FLAVOR from the shot! The same type of shot I pull from the Breville I can get from the Casabrews. The shots are slightly better from the Breville, but for the price, it’s great.Milk Steaming:Doesn’t come with a milk pitcher, so you’ll need to buy one. Compared to the Breville, the wand is smaller, only a single nozzle, and much less pressure to texture/swirl the milk. It is also much slower to steam milk. Even then, I am still able to get a good, even texture on the milk. One thing that is annoying is the large range on the knob for milk steaming. Maybe I’m used to the Barista Pro, but having to twist the knob multiple times to get the steam maxed out and then to stop steaming is a little weird.Final Thoughts:After getting all of the accessories, great little machine! If you buy the stock machine, I think you will still be able to make decently enjoyable espressos and milk-based drinks. So much better than just Keurig coffee at work! Compared to the Breville Barista Pro, the stock machine is a bit underwhelming. With accessories, you can have a satisfying workflow and create some very tasty drinks! Definitely recommended if you can spend a little extra in accessories.
