It features a retro paint scheme to help it stand out from the crowd. Complete with all the “mod cons” an Overlander or Weekender might need, the “Tacozilla” comes with a bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and living space.

#ELECTRIC/BRANDFOCUS: The Canoo Electric Lifestyle Vehicle Launches Late 2022

Prospective buyers can configure the vehicle to provide the utility of a cargo carrier, campervan, minibus, mobile people mover, pickup truck, and more. The company says that the modular EV platform will include up to 300hp and 332 lb.-ft. of peak motor torque with 250 miles of battery range.

#ELECTRIC/CAMPER: The First Electric Camper Van Is around the Corner

BY JAY RAMEY: LEVC’s take on a European-style camper van, once represented here by the Volkswagen Westfalia and its descendants, is the VN5 e-Camper. The London Electric Vehicle Company revealed renderings of what such a model could look like after partnering with camping vehicle specialist Wellhouse Leisure, and it’s headed into production at the end of 2021.

#ELECTRIC/RVTECH: GM Will Suck Lithium From the Salton Sea?

BY MARK VAUGHN: With most of the world’s carmakers planning to go all-EV soon, the world is going to need a lot more lithium.  It is needed to make EV batteries and most now comes from Australia and Chile. General Motors think it might have found a way to get more, signing an agreement to extract Lithium from waters beneath the Salton Sea in Southern California.
