Quite LargeIt is a very large chair with respect to Indian body size. This makes it a little uncomfortable to keep our hands on both armrests at a time. Little bulky and big for storing in my wagon r CNG with all camping luggage. Bought it for twenty-five hundred. Priced around triple makes it not a great choice just for the brand namesake, so I returned. However, the chair may be a very good choice for a fatty person.

Comfortable but questionable durabilityInitially we were quite happy with the chairs, very large and comfortable, however the frame pushed through the seam on one arm (see pic) after only one or two days of use. Unfortunately they were only unfolded two times over the summer so our return exchange period had expired. (We will attempt to repair it ourselves I suppose 🙁 )

Best lightweight chairsThe Coleman brand has always manufactured great products and this chair is one of them. I am a bigger guy, 280 lbs so I was looking for a lightweight yet durable chair that can handle my weight. This chair fits the bill, it appears to be very stable. The hinge points all appear to be strong and should last long. The fabric looks to be of good quality and should last years with proper care (don’t leave exposed to the sun or elements when you are not using). There is very thin padding in the seat bottom and back but does very little, but it is better than none at all.I do like the mini arm cooler, just enough space to put a little bit of ice and a couple of cans of cold beer. The storage bag attached to the seat is perfect. We live in a big city so we take our dogs to the park often and when it is sunny we spend time soaking up the sun so this is perfect to put the dog’s toys or other items for us while we are seated.Overall these chairs are perfect and I would recommend them. After the summer I will update my review if there are any changes.

DisappointedI don’t recall being as disappointed with a purchase in a long time. I’ve had two $5 camping chairs (NWT) that I bought at Kmart about 8 to 9 years ago. They have been through hell: camping, concerts, t-ball games, the beach, parks, etc. They’re still in one piece. Looks like they’ll easily last another 10 years. I vainly admit that it bothered me that they’re not a better known brand. I booked a glamping trip at state park Jonathan Dickinson April 5th through the 8th, 2018. South Florida. Great weather. Flat surface, mostly grass or sand. I thought it was the perfect time to upgrade my camping chairs. I have MANY Coleman products: coolers, lights, stakes, chairs, etc. All have been 100% excellent quality. Naturally I thought these chairs would be a nice upgrade. First, I did not like the quality of the carry case they come in. I’ve seen better, and they didn’t meet my expectation. Felt thin. Not confident it would last. Also, the pockets that the chairs bring make the chair a bit bulky, and it’s a tight fit getting them in the case. They could’ve been a tiny bit larger. But the worst part is the picture I attached. When the 3 day glamping trip came to an end, I realized the leg was already broken/out of place. I don’t think I sat on the chair for more than 3 hours in the entire trip. It was the first and only time I used the chair. I don’t know if it came like that, or if it happened in the trip. The chairs were not mistreated. I almost feel like Coleman just slapped their name on an inferior product. Now they’re just their taking up space. Definitely the worst product I’ve bought on MyMotorhomeLife. TERRIBLE QUALITY. Especially for a Coleman.

What a deal!I was looking for a chair that would be easy to carry, strong enough to hold me and with at least one little accessory. My husband and I are both big people, and I needed a chair that would hold us, sitting upright, and not low to the ground so we can sit comfortably and watch our grandkids ball games. (we are pushing 60 and overweight) This chair is very comfortable. It has not only a cup holder, but a small mesh flap that will hold a cell phone, attached to that another flap for a book and/or magazine, AND on the opposite side, a small cushioned “cooler” pouch that will hold at least 2 soda cans or water bottles. These chairs are great, so glad I ordered 2!

It’s a chair, not a cane…These chairs are plenty sturdy and sized for bigger folks. The backrest has a bit of an angle and very comfortable compared to more vertical designs. The reason people seem to be breaking the arms off is because they are designed to hold up your arms – not support an entire body trying to stand. I can use them to steady myself and push away from the chair just fine – but pretty sure if I pushed all 200lbs of myself against them they would bend and break. Duh.As far as the cup holder – seems to hold my koozie just fine. I imagine if I tried one of those old giant foam ones from 1974, it might not fit…It really is a fine camp chair – not too heavy, comes with a bag that has a sling, and the cooler and book holders are awesome additions.

FMF Chair = Fat Man Friendly ChairBest camping chair I’ve owned. I won’t get specific with my dimensions but I’m a pretty big guy. Most chairs you find in stores are designed for skinny people whereas this chair works well with my large body.

We’ve Owned These Chairs for Over a Year and Still Love Them!Towards the end of last summer, my husband and I needed to get some new chairs for when we sit outside or go somewhere since our old ones were worn out. I did some searching on here and these were the first ones that stuck out to me. I’ve known for awhile that the Coleman brand has a good reputation and I was pretty interested in these chairs since they have a lot of features and didn’t cost a ton of money. We ended up purchasing the blue chair and the black chair. These oversized chairs are amazing and so comfortable! They are made in China of 100% polyethylene foam. The chairs measure approximately 24 inches wide when set up and 18 inches from the bottom of the legs to where the seat is. They can hold up to 325 pounds and feel very durable. My husband weighs about 350 pounds and he’s sat in these with no problems although we bought him a chair that can hold a bit more weight, just in case. Some really cool features of these chairs are: a built-in cooler that can hold 4 cans (I can fit 3 comfortably and I think you could fit one lying on top of the other cans), a mesh cup holder which holds my water bottle, and side pockets which are GREAT for books, phones, and other small accessories like keys, wallets and sunscreen. There is one big pocket and two smaller pockets. These chairs are well-cushioned and so comfortable to relax in. The seat and back are cushioned and the arm rests are wide. The product tag also says the arm heights are adjustable although I’ve never tried it and the frame is made of strong steel which I definitely believe. The chairs come in a bag with a strap which makes them easy to carry. We’ve had these chairs for over a year and they are some of my favorite chairs that we’ve ever owned! I use them a lot during the summer and I’ve never had a problem with either of the chairs. One of the bags tore a little bit when I was putting a chair back in but that’s not a huge deal to me. The tear didn’t get any worse over time. Oftentimes I will sit in one chair and set up the other to use as a footrest..wow, is it so comfortable! I could sit in these chairs for hours because they are so comfortable! I don’t really use the cooler as a cooler; instead, I just put my water bottle in it since it’s a stainless steel one and somewhat heavy. It sticks out of the cooler but that’s fine with me since I am just using it for a cup holder. I love the mesh pockets too and always stick my phone, Kindle or book in there when I’m not using them.Overall, I’m so happy I found these chairs because they are some of the best I’ve found! I feel the price is great for what you get and I like that there are a few different colors to choose from. We’ve never had a problem with the chairs themselves (only one of the bags) and several of our family members and friends have used them too. If you are looking at purchasing these for outdoor activities, I highly recommend them! They have been a great purchase and I would buy more of them in the future if we need to get more!
